L'Âme Botanique was born from a simple conviction: that the most profound beauty exists in moments we almost miss — the instant a blossom opens under moonlight, the scent that rises from rain-soaked tiles, the silence that follows the last note of a shamisen.
We are not perfumers in the conventional sense. We are collectors of stillness, translators of those fleeting moments between waking and dreaming where the world reveals itself most honestly.
Our compositions draw from the world's rarest botanical sources. Florence iris, aged underground for three years before extraction. Bulgarian roses harvested in the hour before dawn, when their oil content reaches its peak. Laos agarwood, formed over decades in the heartwood of ancient aquilaria trees.
We practice the art of slow extraction — cold enfleurage, steam distillation, and careful solvent work — methods that honor the plant's full aromatic complexity rather than reducing it to a single molecule.

A pioneer in Taiwan's independent niche-fragrance market, Terrence has long been dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogue between local scent culture and international perfume houses.
After founding NOSEWAY, he integrated cross-brand management experience with curation, storytelling, and market strategy — transforming fragrance from a product into a cultural medium that lives within daily life, emotion, and memory. He currently oversees multiple fragrance brands and collections, continuously expanding the creative landscape of Taiwan's niche-perfume scene.
Following years of refinement and artistic exploration, Terrence collaborated with master perfumers to translate his accumulated olfactory experience and literary sensibility into a creation designed to unfold quietly within the heart — L'Âme Botanique.
